We are committed to teaching, supporting and researching world-class Science and Engineering.

The School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh supports world-class excellence in teaching and research. We offer a full range of undergraduate courses in Engineering subjects and taught postgraduate degrees. We also offer a wide array of  PhD programmes, an EngD degree in Offshore Renewable Energy and research activities within our six Research Institutes, with much collaboration with industry and government both nationally and internationally.

The School of Engineering is part of the College of Science and Engineering at The University of Edinburgh and is located on the King's Buildings campus.

Research

The School has wide-ranging, comprehensive and exciting research activities. Our research is carried out in six institutes under a broad scope of challenging engineering research themes. We are part of the Edinburgh Research Partnership in Engineering (ERPE).
