Edinburgh Engineering Helps with Rocket Blast Off Competition

Staff and students at the School of Engineering are lending their expertise to a water rocket competition which is part of the Midlothian Science Festival and runs from 4th - 19th October.

Children and their parents can build a rocket at home, following some simple rules, and then take it to various locations to see how well it performs. There are prizes for the furthest distance travelled by a rocket and also for the best artistic design.
