The School of Engineering is developing plans to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first Regius Chair of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh in 1868.

The organising committee plans to have a logo to represent a series of events and we would like to tap into the creative talent within the school for ideas. Today we are launching a competition open to all staff and students for the design of a logo that will be used to badge all Engineering150 activities.

The winner will receive £250 in Amazon vouchers.

You are encouraged to submit your logo designs as a .ppt or .jpg or other recognised image file, together with a short explanation of the design philiosophy and intent, to julia.eighteen@ed.ac.uk 

The closing date is 30 November 2016, after which the Engineering150 organising committee will select the winner.
