Biography:

I'm a Research Associate modelling blood flow and biofluids in microfluidic devices, vascular networks and biological tissues. My current research focuses on the fluid dynamics and solute transport in the human placenta, using computational models with lattice-Boltzmann and immersed-boundary methods. My research interests also include bioinspired microswimmers and medical micro/nanorobots.

Previously I was a PhD researcher (Principal's Career Development Scholar & Edinburgh Global Research Scholar) in the Institute for Multiscale Thermofluids (IMT) at the School of Engineering, University of Edinburgh.
