The New Year started really well until I got knocked out by the winter bug. It started with a sore throat, fever, vomiting, diarrhoea then flu. I had never been this ill before and it was debilitating! I am slowly recovering as I write and I am glad I feel a lot better!
Celebrating holidays with family is a luxury denied to many. I can’t remember how many times I had to spend holidays away from home during my undergraduate days in Malaysia. But I remember each time I would feel sad and lonely. Fortunately I wasn’t completely alone.
Hey there, happy new year! So, the first semester is over and I don’t know how to feel, on the one hand I feel relieved that I am done, but at the same time I feel sad because every month that passes, brings us one step closer to August.
Someone recently asked me why I make regular posts on social media. After talking to a few other friends, I realized that he is one of the many people that have a negative outlook of social media. Like everything else, social media does have its pros and cons.
