ExxonMobil Campus Visit Presentation

Location:

Lecture Theatre G10, Darwin Building, King's Buildings

Date:

Thursday, March 27, 2014 - 13:00 to 14:00

On Thusday 27 March, Exxon Mobil are up in Edinburgh and will be giving a presentation applicable to Mechanical & Chemical Engineering students from all years.

The presentation will be aimed at students looking to apply for the Exxon Mobil Engineering Challenge (EMEC). For those who haven't heard about event before, it is a 3 day team building event held in September this year in locations across the UK. It is a completely free event and gives you the opportunity to learn a little more about one of the world's biggest oil and gas companies in a fun filled couple of days.

This link gives a little more information about the event: http://www.exxonmobil.co.uk/UK-English/HR/jobs_EMEC.aspx

Two people currently in 4th and 5th Year Chemical Engineering attended EMEC and as a result of this event I have been offered 6 month placements as part of their final year.  So it is an opportunity not to be missed!

I would particularly recommend first, second and third years (especially) for this event however all are welcome.

The presentation will be held in the Darwin Lecture Theatre G10 at Kings buildings this Thursday at 1pm and will last for around an hour.

Exxon will also be running a pub quiz at night after the presentation. This will be at 56 North from 7.30. So come along for a couple of hours to break up coursework/revision and introduce yourself to the Exxon Mobil HR staff. Prizes may also be up for grabs.

The Chemical Engineering Society has created an event for the quiz on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/409096262560754/?notif_t=group_mall_plan
