- Writing Workshop Proformas - as part of your Engineering workshops, you are required to write a proforma prior to the session. We will be discussing how to write a good proforma by looking at some proformas of past students (some good, some not so good) which will help to understand what to avoid and what to focus on when writing.
- Referencing Information - in any piece of scientific writing, you MUST cite where you found your information from. This must be done in a consistent manner, which is difficult if you have never done so before. References are NOT the same as a bibliography. We will be showing you some different methods of referencing and how to do so effectively and consistently.
