Chemical EngPALS Session - Heat Transfer

Location:

Hudson-Beare Classroom 7

Date:

Thursday, February 26, 2015 - 17:00 to 18:00

Many chemical engineering unit operations have associated heat transfer processes e.g. distillation columns require condensation and reboiling, some streams must have some solvent evaporated before entering another unit, some plants require cooling towers etc. Heat transfer is a very important aspect of chemical engineering, and it is essential to have a firm grasp of the fundamentals. This week's session will cover some examples of heat transfer problems to help with this.
