Sensing and Imaging Systems (SIS) is an exciting technology achieving quality, efficiency and performance across all key markets. The SIS market is worth £500Bn globally and is growing. SIS technology touches every aspect of our lives, from energy renewables to food and drink technology.
In response to a call from the Scottish Funding Council to address skills shortages in the economically important domain of sensor and imaging systems and their applications, CENSIS has launched the Sensor and Imaging Systems MSc programme, a collaboration between the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow. Graduates will receive a joint degree from both institutions.
Applicants who are interested in learning more about this exciting new MSc opportunity are invited to attend an information session held on March 31st from 5 to 6pm in Classroom 6 of the Hudson Bear Building. Professor Ian Underwood from the University of Edinburgh and Siân Williams from CENSIS will be speaking about the degree and links to industry provided (find out more about CENSIS at www.censis.org.uk).
