RSC Scotland and North of England Electrochemistry Symposium 2019

The Royal Society of Chemistry Scotland and North of England Electrochemistry Symposium 2019, or so-called “Butler Meeting”, will be held at the King’s Buildings on Tuesday 9 April, 2019.

The Butler Meeting is a one-day symposium at which PhD students and PDRAs from across Scotland and the North of England can meet with peers and present the results of their research in any field related to fundamental and applied electrochemistry.

The keynote speaker will be Professor Kevin Sivula, Head of the Laboratory for Molecular Engineering of Optoelectronic Nanomaterials (LIMNO) at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Registration for the Butler Meeting is free to all, and the deadline is 22 March 2019. To register, go to the event site and follow the instructions under the “Book Now” tab at the top of the page.

Abstract templates for oral and poster presentations are also available to download from the site.

Submission deadlines

Submission deadlines are as follows:

  • 15 February 2019: Oral abstracts deadline
  • 1 March 2019: Poster abstract deadline
  • 22 March 2019: Standard registration deadline
