The successful candidate will be internationally prominent in Power Electronics or Smart Grids, or will demonstrate strong potential to be so. They will undertake teaching duties in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and carry out fundamental and applied research in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and lead related research within the School, winning substantial external research funding. They will identify and propagate visions for research in the field of Power Electronics and Smart Grids.
