The School of Engineering is supporting female undergraduates through the Careerwise placement scheme

In 2014 Equate Scotland launched Careerwise, a ground breaking work placement scheme for women in STEM.  Its aim is to encourage more girls and women to consider and pursue STEM careers through the provision of information on STEM career opportunities and the route into these sectors through valuable work experience and work placements.  Forty two women successfully completed a summer placement in 2014 giving them experiences that they can draw upon at future job interviews and in job applications.

The School of Engineering has once again joined up with the Careerwise placements scheme to offer a summer internship to a female undergraduate engineering student.  The deadline for applications is March the 11th.
