Dr Javier Escudero elected Vice-President of Society of Spanish Researchers in the UK

Dr Javier Escudero Rodriguez, Chancellor’s Fellow in the Institute for Digital Communications, has been elected vice-president of the Society of Spanish Researchers in the UK (SRUK). With over 700 members, the organisation encourages collaboration between Spanish and British researchers, and brings Spanish researchers in the UK together.

Dr Escudero was part of a small group of SRUK representatives and other leading Spanish researchers who met the King and Queen of Spain on 14 July 2017. The royals visited the Francis Crick Institute in London, where they discussed the need to protect and strengthen scientific collaborations between the UK and Spain.
