Former PhD Student wins Osborne Reynolds PhD Competition

Dr Mark McAllister, a former PhD and Undergraduate student of the School of Engineering, has won the 16th ERCOFTAC Osborne Reynolds Oral Presentation Competition.

Mark presented his PhD thesis titled "Analysis of laboratory and field measurements of directionally spread nonlinear ocean waves" at the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering in the University of Manchester during the annual Osborne Reynolds Day which features presentations by some of the brightest of the UK’s newly-graduated and soon-to-graduate PhDs in fluid mechanics.

The School congratulates Mark on this fantastic achievement.
