The School of Engineering will be marking this significant anniversary with a programme of events and activities. Planning has begun, and we also want to receive ideas and suggestions from our community of staff, students and alumni – or indeed anyone with a great idea!

  • On 23 June 2016 the UK electorate voted in a national referendum to leave the EU. There is no immediate, material change for our staff, students and EU-funded programmes, however, there will of course be many questions that staff and students, current and prospective, wish to ask. This site aims to address many of the immediate issues. Given the uncertainty at this stage, we may not be able to answer all your queries, or to answer them definitively, but we will work hard to keep you updated with the relevant changes.

  • Hyped are proud to announce they have been awarded funds from Innovation Initiative Grant, as well as a cash award, providing a modest, but comfortable budget to continue their research, development and testing. The group are keen to welcome new people and fresh ideas from mechanical, electrical and civil engineering as well as those who would be keen to help with outreach and marketing.
