I am undertaking a PhD in Engineering under the joint supervision of Dr Enzo Sauma (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and Dr Harry van der Weijde (The University of Edinburgh).
My current research (doctoral thesis) focuses on the economic incentives behind the development and deployment of community energy projects. This involves applying concepts/tools of industrial organization and game theory, applied microeconomics, mathematical programming, and financial economics.
My fields of interest include energy and electricity markets, renewable energy, nuclear power, sustainable development, and management applied to sustainable businesses.
I previously worked for the financial services industry for almost 9 years.
