My research concerns the applications of system analysis and economics to electric utility regulations, planning and operations. The uneven and diversified economic growths, demands and resources in South East Asia add more questions to policies and future grid planning. I focus on applying stochastic approach to investigate the impact of high penetrations of renewables and I will identify mitigation strategy that covers interconnectivity among regions, utilization of storage systems and demand side management in South East Asia region.
I have professional experience and skills with a demonstrated history of working in electricity sector and held various positions in one of the main electric utility firms in Malaysia.
