T-MAPPP: Training in Multiscale Analysis of multi-Phase Particulate Processes

T-MAPPP is an Initial Training Network funded by FP7 Marie Curie Actions with 10 full partners and 6 associate partners, aiming to train the next generation of researchers who can support and develop the emerging inter- and supra-disciplinary community of Multiscale Analysis (MA) of multi Phase Particulate Processes.

The T-MAPPP Initial Training Network project is targeted at high quality Training to reinforce the emerging inter- and supra-disciplinary community of Multiscale Analysis (MA) of multiPhase Particulate Processes and systems (PPP) in the EU. The goal is to develop a new generation of multidisciplinary young researchers, able to work and progress the field in both academia and industry, by devising new multiscale technologies, improving existing designs and optimising dry, wet, or multiphase operating conditions.

This training network will provide a balanced and intensive intersectoral education program (between physics, geosciences, informatics, pharmaceutical-, food-, agricultural-, civil-, chemical-, and mechanical-engineering) and reduce the shortage of R&D experts with skills in multiscale analysis of particulate processes. The simultaneous contribution of universities, industry and software houses will strengthen the scientific quality of the ITN program and make a significant impact to the initial training capacity in Europe for this field.
