  • Outside Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester

Old Trafford, as known as Theatre of Dreams, is the home stadium of Manchester United, one of the greatest football clubs in the world. I have been a faithful Manchester United fan for almost 20 years.

  • Tasty scones and jam in Edinburgh

Since arriving in Edinburgh a few months ago I have struggled to find authentic Chinese in this beautiful city. For the last three months my staples have been bread and milk and I am craving real Chinese food.

  • North Berwick Law, East Lothian

Last weekend I went on a trip to seal island which is off the coast of North Berwick in East Lothian. The island is a big rock near the coast which has few plants or flora on it.

  • St Andrews cathedral, Scotland

On the weekend I travelled to the St Andrews, a small and pretty city which is famous for its university, castle and cathedral heritage.

  • The Glover Arms, Perth

Last weekend I wanted to see more of Scotland so I went on a day trip to Perth; a town about one hour north of Edinburgh. Perth is a central city of Scotland and it’s located on the banks of the River Tay. There are many lovely galleries and cathedrals worth visiting.

  • Image of Sir Robert the Bruce on the £20 note

For a non-UK resident, when was the first time you were introduced to Scotland? Maybe it was the first time you tried whisky, heard the bagpipes, or the saw tartan kilts. For me, the occasion I got to know Scotland for the first time was through a computer game called The Age of Empire.
