Signal processing and information-theoretic study in full-duplex radio

Here we investigate novel PHY layer 5G NR standard compatible and readily implementable digital and analog self-interference cancellation techniques for beyond 5G scenarios. This project is in collaboration with leading wireless industry.
 
These projects demand that the research student already possesses exceptional knowledge in advanced signal processing and communication together with very high mathematical ability and programming skills. In particular the PhD student needs to have prior knowledge in applied mathematics, multivariate statistical analysis, information theory and should be familiar with various advance wireless communication techniques.

Minimum entry qualification - At least 2.1 first degree and MSc in Engineering or Computer Science or Physics or Mathematics. Further information on English language requirements for EU/Overseas applicants.

Tuition fees + stipend may be available for UK students (TBC).
