Chancellor’s Fellows in the Extreme Science/Astrobiology theme will pursue research linked to CSEC and the UK Centre for Astrobiology, also based at Edinburgh. The Fellows will be based in the College of Science and Engineering and will draw on areas of current research excellence across Schools associated with CSEC.
Chancellors Fellows in the ‘Materials and Manufacture’ theme will pursue research that has a strong application focus, probably involving industrial and/or end-user partners. The fellows will draw upon areas of current research excellence across Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Informatics and Mathematics.
