The School of Engineering is seeking a Research Associate to work on the signal processing for wireless networks research. The successful candidate will undertake research on signal processing and information-theoretic study of full-duplex radio and NOMA systems.
A research associate position for 30 months is available on the University Defence Research Collaboration (UDRC) phase 3 project jointly funded by EPSRC and UK Ministry of Defence. This research associate position will contribute to the UDRC3 under work package 2.2, and will work within the Institute for Digital Communications at the University of Edinburgh.

Dr Javier Escudero and Dr Hamed Azami from the Institute for Digital Communications (IDCOM), in collaboration with Dr Alberto Fernández (from the Laboratory of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, Spain) have received the prestigious Nightingale Award for the best paper published in 2017 in Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing.
Two postdoctoral research associate positions for 24 months in the first instance are available to work with Professor Mike Davies and his team on the ERC Advanced grant project, C-SENSE (Exploiting Low Dimensional Models in Sensing, Computation and Processing).
