Last year I spoke to you both at induction and later in Semester 1, encouraging you to get involved in jobs, volunteering and extra-curricular activities.  This is what will make you employable!

It may be that to undertake some of these activities you will need to produce a CV – certainly you will to apply for summer placements – which I also encourage you to do (check out the opportunities on MyCareerHub - https://mycareerhub.ed.ac.uk/).

So please come along to this informal session to learn what to include (and what not to include), how it should look (is there a perfect template?) and what a covering letter is for… and your applications will be much the stronger for it!
