Electrical EngPALS

Location:

KB Hudson Beare

Date:

Thursday, March 5, 2015 - 17:00 to 18:00

Dear EE Students,

We're proud to announce this week's Electrical EngPALS sessions and I'd like to invite you all to join!

We'll be focusing on the properties of linear circuits, explaining what homogeneity, superposition and linearity means in this context and "find out" how they relate to Norton and Thevenin's Theorems. We'll also introduce you to our new student leaders and finish off with an example of how circuit simulators form a conductance matrix to solve circuits.

A rough schedule would be:

Introduction (~5 min)

Norton and Thevenin Recap (~5 min)

Linearity, Homogeneity and Superposition (~20 min)

Norton and Thevenin Relationship (~10 min)

Conductance Matrix (~10min)

Discussion & Summary (~10)

The session will be at KB Hudson Beare, as usual, from 5pm, this Thursday - 5th of March, 2015.

Booking is not required, but I'd encourage you to do it, as it'd give us some idea of how many people we can expect.

The link for booking is: (I think)

I hope to see as many of you there. If there's anything else you'd like to discuss, you're welcome to suggest it at any time!
